Platform Update: Minimum OS Requirement Change
Starting May 28th, the minimum supported operating system for the iTicket POS application will be Android 8.0. Devices that cannot be updated to Android 8.0 or higher will remain on their current iTicket POS version and will no longer receive future updates.
This change is part of our ongoing effort to modernise the platform, enhance stability, and improve diagnostic capabilities. By focusing development on newer technologies—such as upgrading to .NET 9, which is not supported on Android 7 and below—we can deliver better performance and support more advanced features going forward.
We are aware that a small number of older devices may be affected by this change and recommend reviewing your active hardware to ensure compatibility.
