Point-of-Sale, POS 331
The latest release of our Point-of-Sale (POS) system introduces several exciting new features, enhancements, and fixes aimed at improving both functionality and user experience. Here's a detailed overview of what's new in POS 331:
Defer Payment
We are introducing a new payment method called Defer Payment. This feature enables customers, through the cashier, to create unpaid bookings to reserve resources in advance. These bookings will be assigned the status Deferred, allowing customers to complete payment upon arrival. This provides greater flexibility for customers and enhances the reservation process for businesses.
Note: The feature requires manual activation for your inventory. If you would like to enable this functionality, please contact our support team, and we will assist you with the activation process.
Split Refunds
It is now possible to split refunds across multiple payment methods or process them in separate transactions. This added flexibility ensures smoother refund operations.
Web View Enhancements
The Web View interface of the POS has undergone a significant facelift across all pages. The updated design provides a more modern, user-friendly interface, improving usability and overall aesthetics for a seamless experience.
Preparation for Value Vouchers
The POS system is now equipped to support Value Vouchers. This feature will enable the creation, management, and redemption of value-based vouchers. Although the portal functionality for administration is still awaiting deployment, this update ensures the POS is ready for a smooth rollout once the portal is launched.
Wristband Printing Preparation
In anticipation of future developments, the POS has been prepared to support wristband printing. This capability will be available in a forthcoming update, offering businesses additional options for customer convenience and resource management.
