Upcoming Permission Updates in iTicket 2025-02-10

We are introducing new permission controls in iTicket to enhance security and flexibility. These changes will take effect with the next deployment, scheduled for February 13th, and may impact your operations.

New Permissions for Season Passes & Vouchers

We have introduced four new permissions to better control access and editing capabilities for Season Passes and Vouchers:

• View Permissions: Required to access the Season Pass or Voucher panels in the iTicket portal. Users with these permissions can also export data and view detailed information.
• Manage Permissions: Grants the ability to edit input fields and perform actions such as revoking or blocking, where applicable.

 

New "Manage-Limited" User Permission

We are also introducing a "users:manage-limited" permission, which allows non-admin users to create new users and assign them only to the same user group they belong to.

• Users with "account:users:manage" can assign users to any group.
• Users with "account:users:manage-limited" can assign users only to their own group.

For example, if a user in the Finance group has the manage-limited permission, they can create new users but can only assign them to the Finance group.

These new permissions are designed to give you more control over access management on iTicket.
