Vågnes - Reindeer Camp Dinner with Chance of Northern Lights
ITINERARY
Pick up is at the bus terminal at Tromsø Havn Prostneset, (Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008, Tromsø - Google maps link)
Pick up time: 17.45
- 30-35 min bus ride to the reindeer camp
- Feeding of wild reindeer and walking around the reindeer camp
- Hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) around the fire inside a candle lit lavu (traditional Sami tent)
- Bidos (a traditional Sami stew) and Sami bread (a vegetarian / vegan / gluten free option is also available)
- Chocolate cake and blueberry dessert whilst listening to storytelling of Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder
- A joik performance (traditional Sami folk song)
- Guests will have the opportunity to spend time outside and try and catch the northern lights
- 30-35 min bus ride back to Tromsø city centre
